Letter: Vote Richardson for Pasco School Board

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Aaron Richardson several months ago as he was starting to run for the Pasco School Board. I found a man who is extremely interested in making the district a positive place for our children.

He has five children in the Pasco schools and is clearly interested in making sure they get a great education along with every other child.

With the current problems in the district, it is apparent now is the time for new leadership. The school district just went through a two-week strike which should have been avoided. A large part of the problem was the teachers curriculum, or the lack thereof. It is sad the teachers had to go on strike to force the school board into making sure our children are educated.

Dr. Richardson has been a constant voice in the audience of the board meetings to make positive changes. It is time to make a change in the school board and I believe Dr. Richardson is that positive change. Plus, you can’t go wrong with an Eagle Scout.

Please cast your vote for Dr. Richardson, a positive choice for our children.
