Letter: Johnson, McWhorter deserve votes for Kennewick Public Hospital District
In the race for the Kennewick Public Hospital District, my husband and I support Vic Johnson, Position # 4 and Mike McWhorter, Position #7.
We are proud to support Vic Johnson. We have been associated with Trios for the past 15 years and have great respect for the integrity and commitment Vic has shown as a KPHD board member. His experience will continue to guide Trios as the hospital settles into its fabulous new facility.
We have also admired the true volunteer spirit Mike McWhorter shows in his support of Trios as it grows and continues to be vital to the health of our community. Mike has served on the Trios Foundation board for 23 years, three times serving as president. We have watched him work tirelessly on hospital committees. He truly cares about Trios Health and the health of our community.
Currently Trios includes one beautiful new hospital, a new physicians office building, a women’s hospital, four urgent care centers and nine care centers. This tremendous growth was through the hard work of many employees, board members and foundation members.
Vic Johnson and Mike McWhorter are two reasons our community has such excellent health care. They deserve your vote!
