Letter: Vote Johnson, McWhorter for Kennewick Public Hospital District

A new ship needs experienced hands at the helm, and in the case of Trios’ new hospital, those hands belong to Vic Johnson and Mike McWhorter.

I urge you to vote for them in the upcoming election for members of the Kennewick Public Hospital District Board.

Vic Johnson has served on the board for several years. I have seen him at work: firing questions, demanding answers and forever seeking better ways to improve the service provided for district taxpayers’ dollars. He’s the sort of detail person every board needs.

And Mike McWhorter would bring a successful businessman’s savvy thinking to serve a hospital where he was born. Mike has served as a volunteer at the hospital for years — heading up the foundation, chairing many committees and providing leadership that will make transitioning into a board member a smooth operation.

Both are dedicated, hardworking and no-nonsense people who will be an asset to the Kennewick hospital board and to the community as a whole.
