Letter: Vote Vic Johnson for Kennewick Public Hospital District
To my knowledge, both candidates for Kennewick Public Hospital District Position #4 possess qualities that make them great public servants. However, Vic Johnson surpasses his opponent in experience and professional knowledge. In an effort to further the growth and stability of Trios, I am writing this letter in support of Vic Johnson for commissioner.
In 2001, I joined Kennewick General Hospital’s physician staff. Three months later, the administrative team was let go. In the next three years I witnessed continual administrative change at the hospital, interfering with stability and growth that the hospital and community needed. For the last 11 years, the current administration, under the leadership of CEO Glen Marshall, has consistently supported the needs of the community and the hospital staff.
With Vic Johnson’s leadership and involvement as a commissioner, Trios has built a state-of-the-art hospital and office building, they have established the area’s first medical residency program, and currently continue to grow and prosper in a very competitive medical environment.
The district needs the continued experience that Vic Johnson provides as a current member and does not need any “change.” With your vote for Vic Johnson, the Trios board will continue to serve our community.
