Letter: Vote Johnson, McWhorter for Kennewick Public Hospital Board
I urge voters in the Kennewick Public Hospital District to retain Vic Johnson and to elect Mike McWhorter.
Vic has served our community and our patients for several years with hard work, honesty, an understanding of issues and a willingness to take on tough tasks and see them done. He has helped Trios Health move beyond the challenges of opening a new hospital and has a clear vision of where and how to grow this district for the next generation. With my vote and yours, he should be re-elected.
He is a man of common sense, isn’t shy about asking difficult questions, understands finances and adds great value to the current board.
Mike is seeking election for the first time, but his association with the hospital goes back to his birth in Kennewick General Hospital. He has served as a volunteer on the hospital’s foundation in leadership roles for more than 23 years. His broad experience in business and community involvement and his talent gives him the credentials to serve on the KPHD Board.
Moving from leadership on the foundation to leadership on the hospital board is a natural step for Mike. Please give him your vote!
