Letter: Kennewick council has the right to involve itself in Arlene’s Flowers case

This is an answer to J.R. Armstrong’s assertion that “The Kennewick council has no business involving itself in the Arlene’s Flowers case.”

The Kennewick City Council has as much right to involve itself with Arlene’s Flowers as those who involved themselves to legislate against the religious right of Arlene’s Flowers, our first freedom.

Just because these are new laws as such doesn’t mean they have to continue. They are bad laws and should be struck down!

We don’t need all these laws. There was and might still be some common sense left. We, in our freedoms, can deal humanly with our problems. And by the way, no one asked me for yea or nay when there was legislation raised against our first liberty, freedom of religion. We want back our spiritual freedom and our right to work.
