Letter: Thanks to gentleman for help after bike accident
On Sept. 11, I was riding my bike, and took a pretty good fall while making the turn at Rite-Aid on Lee Boulevard in Richland. While picking myself up and trying to assess damages, a gentleman stopped his pickup in the store parking lot and asked if I was OK.
I think I said I was, and I only lived a few blocks away, and I would walk the rest of the way. He offered to give me a ride, which I declined, but then he said no, he was going to give me a ride home. I guess I was looking a little worse than I thought.
He (and his wife and child) gave me a ride, and I want to thank him again. He introduced himself, but I guess the bells in my head were still ringing loud because I can’t remember his or his wife’s name. Anyway, thank you both.
I am truly (and so is my wife), truly grateful for your kindness. God bless you and your family.
