Letter: Thanks to Good Samaritan who donated cash to a stranger
On Sept. 4, I lost an envelope containing cash that was to be used to purchase my medications and buy a few groceries. After searching everywhere I had been and cleaning out both my car and purse, I decided to ask a second time at my local Albertsons. I was told that no one had found it.
After explaining the situation, I returned home hoping that whomever found it made good use of it. Shortly thereafter, I received a call from Albertsons informing me that an unknown donor had requested a “pay it forward” and gave the manager an envelope of cash to be given to me.
I want to thank whomever was the Good Samaritan who donated so graciously to a stranger. Thank you so much. You were an answer to my prayers.
