Letter: Thank you for letters at Fran Rish Stadium

Thank you to the Richland School District for replacing the “R” and the “H” at Fran Rish Stadium. I would also like to extend my thanks to the Richland School Board for teaching the great lesson that bullies will not be allowed to triumph.

By replacing the “R” and the “H,” you have effectively undone what the bullies did when the letters were removed by the heavy-handed decision of the few. I view the actions of these individuals to be no better than those of the grade school bully who pushed me off my bike and stole a treat that I had just purchased. These few stole the traditions of many years of Richland and Hanford alumni.

The Richland School Board has placed the world back on its axis. Thank you very much.
