Letter: Democrats
As our 2016 marathon presidential election moves on, it appears to me that this is the most one-sided contest in the history of our nation. The Republicans have 17 qualified candidates — three are intelligent and articulate captains of industry and 14 are governors or senators, most with enviable records.
The Democrats’ leading candidate has a long history of skating on thin ethical ice. Her tenure as Secretary of State was highlighted by a lack of accomplishments and too many failed foreign policies to mention. Her nearest competitor is a weak 73-year-old socialist who is not even a registered Democrat and wants to tax the rich at 90 percent. Then there is O’Malley, who believes the rise of ISIS is due to climate change! Green Gore won’t run because he is making too much money off the global warming scam.
Then there is “gaffe a day” Biden, who is the dullest in a drawer full of dull knives. Obama needs more time to totally destroy our nation so he salivates over a third term and will run if he can find a way to evade another constitutional mandate.
So who do you think will win? The Democrats of course.
