Letter: Driving too fast
I am appealing to the people who drive south and north on South 38th Avenue in West Richland (a dirt gravel road) to please slow down.
I am sure they do not realize that they leave a wake of dirt larger than the hydroplanes. It filters into the homes on both sides of the street. People with pulmonary problems suffer from breathing the dust.
Neighbors as well as my husband and I are yelling “slow down,” but it doesn’t seem to register. Due to the condition of the road, I doubt that it is good for their cars either.
