Letter: Leach good pick for Benton coroner

We met Bill Leach when he arrived as deputy coroner for my mother's death, the day before Mothers Day, 2018.

He was sensitive to the situation, professional and yet compassionate. He took the time to educate us during his processing, which alleviated our questions and concerns. His leadership thoughout the event was crucial as he interacted with the police, paramedics and funeral director to streamline the process so it flowed flawlessly, thus taking a huge burden off us.

Mr. Leach's extensive experience in law enforcement and his current five-year position of deputy coroner has provided real-life situations giving him the wisdom required for the office and makes him the best candidate for Benton County coroner.
