Letter: Jackson doing great job at PHS

First, Thank you for another great article on Pasco High School football coach Leon Wright Jackson and the football program. Leon and his entire family show Bulldog pride and respect, and his wife is also a PHS graduate, who is currently a PHS teacher and leads many Bulldog clubs!

Pasco has so many families like the Wright-Jackson’s who are tried and true PHS supporters and we look forward to a great start in rebuilding the football program.

Secondly, PHS sports program rebuilding, we have many alumni in the Tri Cities who came back to PHS to help the sports program and are not currently in a coaching position at PHS. We know the caliber of these alumni and have been with them making PHS sports history! Those poised to make the decisions need a blast from the past, so they can see what these individuals did while at PHS.

I can’t even imagine that they are not qualified to do what they excelled at and continued in college. If anyone on the hiring committee is reading this, please go back and review your coaching positions, qualifications and candidates, we must do better!
