Letters to the Editor

Letter: GOP: Is your loyalty absolute?

Donald Trump is diverting attention from his criminal behavior by blaming others, and asking Robert Mueller to stop investigating him.

Republicans: Do you give Mr. Trump your absolute loyalty? If he asked you to jump from a tree without a net, would you? Without question? Would you trust him to come through with a net at the last second?

He demands absolute loyalty, yet he does not reciprocate. He is throwing people under the bus, including his son. Just because he is president does not mean he can make his own laws.

You do not have to play follow-the-leader just because he is Republican. Put your party (Republican/Democrat) aside for a minute. Use your own judgment. Remember what your Mom told you – you are judged by the people you associate with. Do you want this to be your legacy to your children and grandchildren? Would you accept this behavior from your child, your parent, your friend?

Do what is right for our country.
