Letter: Act like a real ‘FREE’ press

Press, end your war on unbiased reporting! The opinion piece “President Trump, end your war on our free press” would be amusing if it weren’t so sickening. They quote the First Amendment ignoring the freedom of speech part with emphasis only on freedom of the press. Now that there’s a president who uses his freedom of speech to call them out on their blatant bias, to them that means he’s at war with the free press. Give me a break!!!

The “Press” spent eight years of the last presidency fainting and fawning over everything having to do with the Obama’s and then doing everything in their power to sway the last election to his protege Hillary. But the people saw through their bias and elected the other guy. Now they can’t help but use their power to destroy him if they can. So now he’s the bad guy for calling them out. It’s like the bully on the playground crying when there’s finally a kid who fights back and won’t tolerate their bullying.

So press, try acting like a real FREE press and provide reporting that is backed by facts and is unbiased. Well, I’m not holding my breath!
