Letter: People still help people in need
When we are so politically divided, we ought to show our fellow Americans our ability to exhibit compassion for one another, especially in times of need.
In the crises such as the wildfires in California, we have shown each other how genuinely compassionate and kind we can be for one another, and there isn’t a person who more deserves this compassion than Moana England.
Moana has to be the sweetest, most gentle-hearted person I have met or ever will meet, and the fact that despite having contracted such a rare and terrible disease, she still stays positive on the day-to-day shows that Americans can exhibit our greatest qualities.
Having seen the success stories of people overcoming crises with the help of others, I have no better person to receive this compassion than Moana. While undergoing treatment out of state, her husband has had a life-threatening crisis of his own, and Moana is still putting her best foot forward.
I don’t want to divulge too much information so, I will leave her gofundme at the end, I hope that this meets the everyday American who wishes to help another American in need. https://www.gofundme.com/moving-mountains-for-moana
