Letter: Sick about pup

I was so saddened and sick to my stomach when I read the article about this trapper drowning that coyote puppy. I wonder if that type of power over something so small gave him a rush.

Why in the hell couldn’t you take it out where it could not hurt anything and release it, hoping it would find its mother or at least be able to survive. I realize that coyotes do prey on domestic animals but what else can they do, after all we are taking over their territory? Mr. whoever you are, you are a disgrace to the human race. I only hope you are never in a situation where you would need someone to save you from drowning, then maybe you will know how that little puppy struggled to survive.
