Letter: Did individual freedom go up in smoke when it comes to pot?

Funny (not) how so many right-wing hypocrites in eastern Washington preach state’s rights and individual freedom, but yet have a fit about legal pot sales in the area.

Pot is no worse, and likely less damaging, than alcohol. I stand by the legal sale of cannabis to those over 21, which is much safer and more responsible than the alternative (selling on the black market). Prohibition didn’t work for alcohol, and neither will trying to ban the sale of cannabis.
