Letter: Get rid of strip club, keep Tri-Cities healthy

What part of opening a strip club and an adjoining sports bar in the Tri-Cities sounds like a good idea?

The Tri-Cities deals with issues of sex trafficking (think back to the July arrest of 26 men in a sex trafficking sting).

Think, too, of the many registered sex offenders living in the Tri-Cities.

Add to this the charges of sexual impropriety by high-profile actors, celebrities and political figures.

I ask the question again: What part of a strip club in Tri-Cities sounds like a good idea?

Further, calling it a “Gentlemen’s Club” should disgust and anger women. There is nothing gentlemanly about men paying money to watch women strip.

While we’re at it, let’s get rid of Burlesque Brew (across the street from a school) and The Castle Megastore too!

Tri-Cities, stand up and be a role model for healthy, moral family life.
