Letter: Don’t take Trump’s word on what news is fake

Fake news is an issue that is coming up in the news more and more, trying to dethrone good and honest newscasters who just want to deliver news.

As Americans look at twitter, we see our president slandering news to cause chaos and mistrust in news that we have been trusting. Though within this era of mass media there isn't a problem with taking an outlet of news with a grain of salt, but totally dismissing it because one person says it’s not telling the truth — even if that person is the president — doesn’t make sense.
