Letter: Fee increase will help preserve national parks

Our national parks are a bargain at any price!

The backlog of work needing to be done is pervasive throughout the system. Even with an increase to $70, most if not all entrance fees are good for seven days — that is $10 a day.

Any money going to the parks is great, and while we support the National Park Service Legacy Act, do not be short sighted and oppose the fee increase.
