Letter: What happened to NFL’s pink October?

My recollection is that during October (Breast Cancer Awareness Month), NFL games were adorned in pink accents. Anything that was not part of the official uniform was fair game — towels, tape, mouthpieces, shoes, sideline hats, cheerleaders. You name it.

This year I barely saw a hint of pink.

I guess no need letting one good cause get in the way of another. I had not realized that selective police brutality was taking more lives than breast cancer.
