Letter: Global warming is man’s greatest cooperative effort
Assume that we wanted to increase the Earth’s temperature. What could we do? No doubt, any plan would include liberating fossilized carbon stores to create an envelope of heat reflecting carbon dioxide. This would require billions of metal carbon-burning devices across our planet.
Stand on a bridge over the interstate in Seattle and watch the carbon burners stream by. Rest assured there are 100,000 other cities around the globe with a similar commitment. And who said mankind can’t work together to achieve a common goal?
