Letter: Consequence of bad choices should be paid by chooser

Birth control, abortion, smoking, drinking and drugs are not a medical or disease issue. It becomes a problem when we choose this path and should be paid by the user, not our tax dollars.

The tobacco companies were fined big time, and then we legalize marijuana. It’s still smoking and against federal law. Makes no sense to me. Turn on the television any time and count the drug ads. It’s not going away as long as there is money involved. My opinion.
