Letter: Praise the parents and children for kind acts

The other day I was at Freddies and I saw a young boy waving an American flag and reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.

I walked up to him and thanked him. His name was Logan and he was probably 6 years old. He asked my name, I told him. Such a gentleman. I told him I was proud of him that he thought so much of our country to do this. In the same week while at work, I encountered another young man probably l2 or l3 years old with long blonde hair. I found out in our course of conversation with his mom and him, that he was growing his hair so he could donate it to charity as his sister had done also.

I am so proud of these two young men, and we adults have to be aware of these kids and thank them when they do such outstanding things. We do not give our children enough praise. And parents, you must be doing something right.
