Letter: Is Trump a deal maker or deal breaker?

Making himself look like a smarter deal maker, our president appears to be trashing everything done by the previous administration, claiming the deals he trashed were bad for America.

What better deals has he made or brokered? Zero to date.

He does not appear to have any positive ideology of his own, and he and the GOP-led Congress seem to be unable to do anything except attempt to get rid of anything that the Obama administration has achieved.

Domestically, he is doing his best to sabotage the Affordable Care Act, promote a bad tax restructuring that primarily benefits the super rich and corporations, eliminate most anything the EPA has ever done, and in general has encouraged the reduction of all government regulations, regardless of how good they may be in protecting the American people.

Internationally, he appears to be trying to pull out of every treaty and agreement this country has made, including any bilateral agreement on climate control, bilateral agreements with Iran and NAFTA, etc., which sends the message that the U.S. cannot be trusted.

Unless things change, history will not look kindly on this administration, and the citizens of this great country will be the losers.
