Letter: Boycott of NFL frees up Sundays around the house

Since the Not Flag Lovers (NFL) have chosen to disrespect the flag and the national anthem for what is probably a noble but, in my opinion, misguided protest, I have chosen to protest them by not watching them.

I tried to watch them recently but was shown video of at least six Seahawks players still kneeling or sitting during the national anthem. I have instead turned my attention to getting work done around my home. Thank you NFL players for all the work I can accomplish when I’m not sitting in a chair watching you.

Love the college and high school games.
