Letter: Congress needs to grow up, since Trump won’t
Dear Sens. Murray and Cantwell and Rep. Newhouse:
Both my parents were WWII veterans.
So I am actually sick — nauseated — to hear the president of the United States support neo-Nazis and have them in his administration. I believe it’s past time to act like he is some unfortunate king that we just have to work around.
A vote of no confidence followed by active legislation to curtail his unseemly activities seems to be in order.
As you review these last almost eight months, you must agree that Congress needs to start being the adult in the room.
