Letter: Talk traffic, not street names

Why does the Herald give a voice to these fools? Richland has been a great place to live and part of that has been an exceptional acceptance of race, nationalities, and religions. I’ve been here my whole life and enjoyed the sense of acceptance this community has.

Yet it seems every time some “scientist” at Hanford gets bored they complain. A problem on the other coast and the Herald gives them a platform. Rather than focus in actual news we emulate the national enquirer.

Let’s discuss the horrible traffic that makes life unbearable for a couple hours every afternoon? Why we don’t have a decent water park? Why there is not a single park where we can legally run or play Frisbee with a dog? Why are there multiple Boys and Girls club locations but none in Richland?

Why give voice to a self important crank about a street name? The Manhattan famously avoid hiring female scientists. If General Groves was a misogynist, shouldn’t we rename the park? It all just becomes silly at some point.
