Jerry Hatcher is the best choice for Benton County sheriff as he fully understands the function of the jail and the mental health problems that go along with it. This is vital for anyone who holds the position of sheriff as it involves both patrol and corrections.
Typically, candidates will just have patrol/detective experience. Jerry is well schooled in all areas. Other correctional facilities visit our jail as it is viewed as the model to which they hope to achieve. This has been accomplished under the leadership of Jerry Hatcher.
Jerry is a person of integrity. I have worked with and for him in different capacities over many years. He is very dedicated to this department, employees, co-workers and friends. He is clearly the best choice for sheriff of Benton County.
