Letter: We need a living river, not an irrigation canal
Regarding the farmers known as the “God Squad” and their contention that the current court ruling “favors fish over people” — I contend we need a living river, not an irrigation canal.
The farmers’ myopic view that people only depend on irrigation, and not on the salmon and a healthy ecosystem of a living river, is contrary to good stewardship, which is also a “God” concept.
