Letter: Don’t place election signs on private property

I realize it is very important for political candidates to have their name and picture in front of the voting public. However, I would like to ask the candidates and their supporters who are placing signs to be aware of private property.

Many subdivisions have rules about the placing of signs of any kind. If you place a sign that is removed by the property owner, you’re simply throwing your campaign dollars away.
