Letter: Thanks for picking up check
Recently, my wife and I had just finished breakfast at a local restaurant and waited for the server to bring our check. She came to our table and informed us that our check had already been picked up.
Neither my wife nor I have the foggiest idea who could have done this for us, but we wish good health and happiness and many thanks for this nice gesture. At the earliest possible time we will “pay it forward” and pick up somebody else’s check.
