Letter: Corps should study new fish ladders

Instead of dam removal, has the Corps studied the possibility of providing new fish ladders that recreate the environment of the original river with boulders, pools, fallen trees and shade?

The existing ladders that I have observed are not natural at all and are only marginally effective. I know we can do better and there appears to be room at each location.
