Letter: Put your phone down and drive
Washington finally got around, after all these years, to imposing tougher punishment for distracted drivers. It took them long enough. It prohibits use of phones, tablets or other electronic devices while driving.
I find it humorous that violators won’t be ticketed for a few months in order to learn about the law. What’s there to learn? Put your phone down and drive the car.
