Letters: Millbauer has a proven love of Kennewick community

I’ve known Jim Millbauer my entire life … he’s my brother.

It was no surprise he was running for Kennewick City Council as he’s been involved in his community for as long as I can remember. From KN Baseball to United Way, to the Pipefitters Local 598’s and Bikes for Tikes program — he’s cared about this community for the nearly 50 years he’s lived here. It makes sense for him to continue that trajectory and make an even bigger impact by serving on the city council.

Kennewick can count on Jim. When I became a homeowner, Jim was my go-to guy for everything. He built our deck. He installed our irrigation. He gave me my first ladder with “Your Kennewick Dad” written on it.

Jim is dedicated. His devotion to his family is above all else. Second to that is his community. Jim’s dedicated to making Kennewick a vibrant community for us to live and work.

I love my brother and I love my community. I’m confident Jim will make a positive impact on the City of Kennewick ensuring our families live in a dynamic, economically strong community for years to come.

Vote for Jim Millbauer, Kennewick City Council Position 4.

Eileen Tanner, Kennewick
