Letter: GOP has false optimism for Trump

Recently on public radio, a Trump apologist praised the president as successfully mastering the steep learning curve of being president. Public usage of a steep learning curve is opposite of technical usage.

I gave up and by 6:30 that morning concluded this mastering the steep learning curve is a Republican euphemism meaning, “Trump may be trainable.”

The comic express of false optimism prevails daily. The fun will not stop.
