Letter: Don’t jaywalk
In the April 12 newspaper was a story on Page 5A about a pedestrian crossing Highway 395 in the middle of the block (not in a crosswalk). who was struck by an automobile. Fortunately for him, he was not grievously injured.
I frequently see people doing what this man tried to do, and I have been known to roll down my window and holler at them to “Remember — nothing gives you that run-down feeling like jaywalking!”
