Letter: Thanks to stranger who picked up tab for widow

Recently I stopped for supper at Applebee’s on Road 68. As a widow, I often find myself eating alone. When I attempted to pay, there was no ticket. The waitress searched for the ticket and came back to tell me someone had already paid for my meal.

I am humbled to have been honored in this way, and would like to thank someone, but who?
