Letter: Can’t afford Richland’s proposed car tab fee
I can’t afford to pay the toll to the troll. The $20 per car tab increase to pay for the Duportail bridge might seem like a wonderful idea on the surface. But, I have two cars, three motorcycles, a utility trailer and a camping trailer. They all need tabs. So I get to pay $140 per year.
Mind you, I can only drive one at a time. And, I also have to insure them all. I guess I’m glad I can’t afford a boat. In a very sad sort of way.
