Letter: Make a deal on removing Snake River dams

If the Nez Perce tribe wants to take down the Snake River dams, let’s make a deal.

If the salmon don’t come back the way they expect, then they will pay for the gas-fired power plant that we’ll need to replace the power and the water we’ll need for the millions of acres of crops that the dams now feed.

Question: Wouldn’t be easier just to buy them salmon?
