Letter: Where were protests when McCain and Romney lost?
I'm a news junkie and enjoy reading and hearing all opinions and ideas. It’s been an interesting couple of years for us news junkies.
As I read, hear about and watch Americans riot and/or protest the results of this presidential election, I’m wondering why there were no riots and/or protests when John McCain or Mitt Romney lost in 2008 and 2012, curious as that is a discussion for another day.
There is one positive thing coming out of this election that we can all be excited about, and that is with all the people that said they would be moving out of the country to Canada, Mexico and elsewhere if Trump won. There are going to be a lot of job openings, that’s really good news for our economy.
Can’t say I'm going to miss Rosie, Barbara, Whoopi, Miley or Cher, though I wish them and everyone else leaving the country well. I do want to say congratulations to all the folks getting those jobs left behind.
