Letter: Clinton should have picked Sanders as running mate
Hindsight is 20/20. But by not picking Bernie Sanders as her running mate, Hillary Clinton made a political error.
Presidential candidate Ronald Reagan picked George H.W. Bush, his bitter opponent during the primaries, as his running mate — in spite of the fact Mr. Bush had described his supply side economics as “voodoo economics.”
They won the presidential race twice and had a successful association for eight years.
Apparently Hillary did not get most of Bernie’s supporters, and didn’t “Feel the Bern.”
