Letter: Why does Richland keep putting roundabouts all over the city?

Why does Richland keep putting roundabouts all over the city? They are not made for the narrow streets we have in Richland. This is Richland, not Seattle. Whoever approved them should have not been in charge of our streets.

The roundabouts are dangerous, and they cost too much. When you are driving down Wright or Thayer, check them out. If you know someone on the city council, let them know how bad they are. Put a real person in charge of street maintenance who knows how traffic flows. I’m not an engineer, but I know there are a lot better ways to fix our streets.
