Letter: Re-elect Judge Alex Ekstrom to Superior Court
I have been an attorney for more than 30 years, and am a past president and vice president of our local Benton-Franklin Bar Association. I have practiced law before all of our Superior Court judges, and Judge Alex Ekstrom is extremely qualified for that position.
He is endorsed by our local bar of attorneys, and all of our current Superior Court judges. This is because he is experienced, well-respected and knows the law. He is committed to being fair and makes a point to listen carefully to all who come before him. He takes the time to explain his reasoning and the law when he makes a decision.
His opponent specifically told the Tri-City Herald that she decided to run against Judge Ekstrom after he ruled against her client on the Arlene’s Flowers case. No matter what opinion a voter has on that case, it should not be the deciding factor on which candidate to select as judge.
If you want experience, integrity and knowledge of the law, then the choice is clear. Vote to retain Judge Alex Ekstrom.
