Letter: Vote Sam Swanberg for Superior Court

I was happy to see that the Tri-City Herald endorsed Sam Swanberg for Superior Court judge, Position 2. The endorsement was based on Sam’s extensive Superior Court experience.

Also, the Benton-Franklin Bar Association voted Sam Swanberg the candidate with the best “judicial temperament.” These attorneys work with both candidates daily and have seen both in action. They know that Swanberg’s temperament is better suited for Superior Court judge.

The same poll also found Swanberg to have superior “legal ability.” This speaks volumes as to whom the lawyers would rather see preside over a trial in Superior Court, regardless of whether they were defense or prosecution. It is critical to have a Superior Court judge with keen intellect who will apply the correct law.

Lastly, the Benton Franklin Bar Association selected Sam Swanberg the “overall choice” for Superior Court judge. He is clearly the overwhelming choice of local legal professionals.

Sam is a personal friend, but I don’t vote based solely on friendship. The legal community has spoken, and they say that Sam Swanberg will make the best Superior Court judge … and that matters. Please join me in voting for Sam Swanberg.
