Letter: Keep up the good work, Larry Haler
We all want our representatives to listen to us and vote for us in the Legislature. Larry Haler’s past performance proves he does this in Olympia.
He has sponsored bills in business, education, medicine, and transportation. He has fought battles for the people he represents, such as changing WSU to a four-year school, giving more local control over schools, getting equal agricultural benefits for grape growers, bringing us family medicine and local nursing programs, and helping create jobs and safety by securing funding for Port of Benton, PNNL, and safety upgrades on Highway 240.
Larry’s opponent doesn’t seem to like Larry standing up for his own team. At a recent League of Women Voters forum, the only thing that seemed to upset Larry’s opponent was that other legislators don’t control Larry. Huh? Look at Larry’s track record. Which of the things that Larry accomplished doesn’t his opponent like?
I say, keep up the good work, Larry.
