Letter: Why are Christians divided over Trump?

Christians are divided on whether they can vote and support Donald Trump because of his character, even though they agree with him on most of the issues. Many contend that the lesser of two evils is still evil, in that the Bible calls us to reject all evil. Many believe that the character issue of both candidates is so evil that they can’t vote for either one. Many don’t believe that it’s right to choose the lesser of two evils, on the remote chance it will lead to good.

Some of the accusations against Donald Trump have already been proven false. It is absolutely true that he has had a potty mouth in the past, which he has apologized for. Compared with Hillary Clinton, there is no comparison who should be in jail.

I believe that many of the people that Donald Trump has surrounded himself with shows that he has much more character than Hillary Clinton; compared with the people she has chosen. I believe that if Hillary Clinton wins, anyone who didn’t vote and support Donald Trump bears some responsibility in the further destruction of our God-given nation where we the people have a voice!
