Letter: Vote Gary Downing for state representative

I would like to recommend to voters of the 16th Legislature District that they consider voting for Gary Downing for state representative, Position 2.

I have known him to be an honest, hardworking man who has their interests at heart. He is a person who has struggled with all the problems and conflicts of the middle class. At one time he was unemployed and lived in his car. However, he overcame his circumstances and became a school district maintenance man. He also had the joy of raising two daughters.

Gary advocates support for the public education system, tax break reform, funding for the homeless and veterans, religious freedom for all, minimum wage increases, getting money out of politics, and human rights.
