Letter: Save the West Richland Library

What treasures the West Richland Library offers its citizens!

Operated by Mid-Columbia Libraries, our children may participate in Storytimes, Paws to Read, LEGO Club, Summer Reading Challenge, and other activities.

Adults may participate in a myriad of local activities, including Adult Art Club, Li-BREWERY Trivia Night, BARchitects — an Adult LEGO League, writing workshops and literary festivals.

Add in the availability of a large collection of books; access to 50,000 downloadable eBooks, e-audiobooks, and eMagazines; and free public internet access computers and high-speed wireless internet.

All of these things make the West Richland Library a valued community resource for its citizens.

Please join me in approving West Richland Proposition 16-10 to save the West Richland Library.

Kathy Whelan, West Richland
